Welcome to Dr Bushra Wahid (MBChB, FRNZCGP)
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Bushra Wahid will be joining Putaruru Tirau Family Doctors starting September 23, 2024. She will take over the care of patients previously under Dr. Amrin.
Dr. Bushra is a GP specialist with extensive experience and profound medical knowledge. She has a special interest in minor skin surgery and medical appearance treatments, offering a unique blend of surgical skill and aesthetic insight. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate certificate in Women’s Health from the University of Auckland.
Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Wahid’s passion for medicine was sparked by her homeland’s rich tradition of healing and community service. She has established her family and professional life in New Zealand.
In her private life, Dr. Wahid finds joy in gardening and cooking, applying the same care and attention to her plants and culinary creations as she does to her patients. Family remains at the heart of her endeavors, inspiring her daily practice and grounding her in the values of connection and care
